oh my mid term break ended at the start of this week how sad...

it wasn't much of a break anyway

craploads of assignments at hand leading up to final exam and final assignments....what luck

oh.. i forgot to add that i'll be going back to school for project meetings during the whole of my mid-term break... that leaves me with no break at all!

i wanna go somewhere cheap and safe in the region the dec hols, but haven't decided yet. Any suggestions?

easy thailand....cheap and pretty safe as well. im not talking about bangkok, south thailand for e.g. krabi and the islands around it. awesome! food is dirt cheap 30baht a meal. accomodation if you stay in a backpackers hostel like i did is about sg 15-25 bucks a night.

or pay a bit more for flights and go to chiang mai. i highly recommend it if you love cheap ad good food and like peace and quiet. PLUS the temperature there will be way cooler than in the middle and south part of thailand, around 25 or 26degrees...also not much pollution and plenty to do

i think my parents won't allow me to go to south thailand, coz of the chaotic situation there...

chiang mai is heavenly i tell u simply beautiful...

u can also consider shanghai, seems quite a popular destination these days.

how much do u wanna spend on ur air tix? shanghai is only max 450 return...these days there are so many specials u could prob get there and back for a little over 300. OR go to hk...then cross over to macau. food!! mwahaha also shop in macau as u like...so cheap...

if u want load of free entertainment from a short trip, go to brunei. the amusement park the king built for the people is enough for a day or 2.

or just go to penang. again food!! and plenty of scenery.

or u know what are the 2 cheapest places_
cool weather and feel for sure u're holidaying...go to genting
otherwise just take the SBS bus into johore and yah, i'm sure u know whats there to do? in case u dun...they have a huge pasar malam every second wed or something (cant rem exactly) that stretches for sts and sts. one big shopping centre for u to shop all day. there's also an open air eating place with heaps of stalls that only opens in the evening and its always crowded...by the way if u go in midweek they have also got specials ladies nights at the bars and at the movie theatre. the last time i went a movie ticket on wed was 4 or 5 SGD. i ended up doing a movie marathon, 3 in a row haha...compared to here which is 12aud a tic...oh boy!

i kinda caught up with all those times not watching movies in theatres because these days i resort to watching tv screened movies or renting dvds for 5bucks each or on tue they are 3.50each. otherwise DUN WATCH haha..save money.

by the way are u graduating in jul next yr or when? coz the whole world seems to be but i decided not to because studying so much crap is stressing me out this sem. i've decided to bid my time and finish up my course in mid nov next yr instead. what's the name of your degree? then what you gonna do next? do u know for sure or still exploring various options...i tell u im so sick of studying! no money in it and assignments just wither my brain cells off. think ill join tcs and be one of those supprting actors or a tree...least dun really need to mug like shit now lol. look at felicia man shes making heaps!

wow... suddenly i feel as if i'm reading some travel magazines. i dunno man.. think i'm gonna ask around if anyone's going overseas and we'll just tag along. Don't think my parents would allow 2 (me n my bf) of us to go alone.

anyway, i'll only be graduating in may 2007. degree is Bachelor of Business Mgmt and it's a 4 yr course. din wanna accelerate coz i so can't stand working life, though the whole world is graduating before me. not sure what i wanna do next time, but definitely not a job that requires me to sit in front of the computer everyday for 8 hours. my eyes will pop out
